this one hits me very close my friends...none other than the lil sis and cousin got into the Boston Latino International Film Festival 2010 with their short documentary/film "LA OTRA FRONTERA"/"THE OTHER BORDER"

The Other Border is a documentary about public access to beaches in Dominican Republic. It is the first short documentary to explore beach privatization, civil rights violations, and the environmental impact of the tourism industry in The Dominican Republic, within the context of an unprecedented dependence on Tourist Dollars.

SANTO DOMINGO-ART CITY 2010

marking highly the dominican indentity thru art this year the city of Santo Domingo was named “the american capital of art for 2010″ language magazine “ojoporojo” organized a street art iniciative called “organic/native”:”art in the city”. 10 artists were invited to participate and present their art pieces from modern art to street art. each artist will exhibit a descriptive issue of what is the Dominican Republic. some of the main streets in the capital were permitted to be used as a “gallery”…check out the video above!

cant believe that after almost a year of this song now is when i'm" FEEEEEEEELING IT"...not to say that i didnt feel it before but i guess there is a time for everything... i'm a "poser" this days...LOL! digging the punta sound in this song..."me llaman freca, they wanna a wifey"...doing some research on miss "la malucamala" a couple month ago i ran into this clip of a performance she did in mexico city at the beginning of the year and i've been meaning to write/blog about it, but now is the time...if you're not into maluca you betta get with it because shes not such a silent menace anymore, she's been making major noise this past few month, and the best is yet to come...check my interview with her a couple post below and catch her at a city near you with Robyn...Robyn tour 2010!!!
